National Health Law Program

National Health Law Program is a nonprofit, public interest law firm working for justice in health care for low-income people. Its website is designed to assist legal services attorneys and private attorneys representing low-income clients nationwide by providing in-depth analyses of health law issues that affect low-income people. The site includes dozens of articles, reports and manuals, many of which are available for free download. While the entire site is available for free, the full text of some articles and manuals can only be obtained by ordering the print version for a fee.

Neurosciences on the Internet
Neurosciences on the Internet contains a searchable and browsable index of neuroscience resources available on the World Wide Web and other parts of the Internet. Neurobiology, neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, psychology, cognitive science sites and information on human neurological diseases are covered.

New England Journal of Medicine On-Line

NLM Gateway
The NLM Gateway allows users to search in multiple retrieval systems at the National Library of Medicine (NLM). The current Gateway searches MEDLINE/PubMed, OLDMEDLINE, LOCATORplus, AIDS Meetings, Health Services Research Meetings, HSR Proj, MEDLINEplus and DIRLINE.

Occupational and Environmental Medicine
The Duke OEM resource list is a list of links to governmental, educational and international sites. Links are to hosts with actual information pertinent to the practice of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the prevention aspects of that discipline. There are no "institutional biographies". Emphasis is placed on those sites with searchable databases for exposure-related human disease, whether from toxic, physical, infectious or ergonomic hazards. The OEM site is also host to the largest forum in Occupational Health, the Duke OEM-Maillist, and searchable archives and subscription information is available.

TOXNET search interface is part of the Toxicology and Environment Health Program at the National Library of Medicine, which includes a web site that has many components, including TOXNET searching. Virtual Hospital is a digital health sciences library created in 1992 at the University of Iowa providing current and authoritative medical information. The Virtual Hospital digital library contains thousands of textbooks and booklets for health care providers and patients.

An organized, comprehensive categorized collection selected by staff members of Overlake Hospital's (Bellevue, WA) Medical Library to support the clinical management, research, and educational information needs of the OHMC physicians and hospital staff.
